We have a colorful variety of customizable options ready for you—for a winter vacation in the mountains that will be diverse, breathtaking, and unforgettable.

Nestled in the idyllic mountain landscape of the Salzburg region, the Jufenalm offers not only peace and relaxation, but also exciting winter adventures. Our hotel’s own 2.5-kilometer toboggan run starts right at the Jufenalm and winds through snow-covered landscapes to the outskirts of Maria Alm. Romantically lit in the evenings, it promises tobogganing fun for the whole family. After the thrilling descent, our toboggan tractor will comfortably take you back to the Alm upon reservation, so nothing stands in the way of your next adventure. Our hotel’s own ski shuttle takes you directly to the Hochkönig ski area, where 120 kilometers of slopes and the legendary Königstour await you. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, a beginner or a pro—there’s something for everyone here. And after an eventful day? Head back to the Jufenalm, where a crackling fireplace, alpine coziness, and regional delicacies await you. Feel the magic of winter, breathe in the fresh mountain air—and enjoy your ski getaway at the Jufenalm.

Discover this relaxing winter sport that takes you through snow-covered forests, past breathtaking views of the Salzburg Alps, and on to rustic ski huts. You’re welcome to rent snowshoes from us at the front desk by prior arrangement. A daily flat rate of €20 applies. Please register by 6:00 PM the day before. One of our favorite spots is the hotel’s own wildlife enclosure: Enjoy the view and marvel at the majestic red deer and mouflons against the vast expanse of the winter landscape. In our newly built barn, alpacas, wallabies, goats, and donkeys also fascinate animal lovers and our younger guests. They complete the authentic charm of the Jufenalm and make every winter vacation here just a little bit more unforgettable.

Starting in the late afternoon, you can warm up at our mulled wine hut with hot mulled wine, fragrant punch, and winter almonds. Wrapped in warm blankets, enjoy the cozy atmosphere amidst a sea of fairy lights, while the crackling campfire provides comforting warmth. A place to arrive, linger, and enjoy—under a starry sky amidst the snow-covered mountains.
Our mulled wine hut is open daily during the Christmas season until January 6, 2026. Earlier visits are also possible upon request and reservation—for unforgettable winter moments at the Jufenalm.

Experience exclusive yoga specials at the Jufenalm—from gentle Chill & Relax Yoga to dynamic Power & Spirit Yoga, we offer inspiring sessions for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Depending on the weather, our yoga sessions in the mountains take place either on the observation deck with panoramic views or at The Mindful Nest retreat.
New at our resort: Sunrise Yoga – every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. Start your day with energy and mindfulness. Participation is included in the room rate; please register at the front desk by 6:00 p.m. the day before at the latest.
