A special occasion deserves a place that knows no bounds. At the Jufenalm, we create a space where your story takes center stage—undisturbed, authentic, and completely private. We believe that true excellence is found where you can be completely at ease.
At 1,150 meters, we’re redefining privacy. For your wedding celebration, the Jufenalm belongs exclusively to you and your guests. No other hotel guests, no distractions—just you, your loved ones, and the timeless silence of the Alps. Whether it’s relaxing hours in the spa or evenings together in our restaurant: enjoy our hotel as your personal hideaway in a secluded setting.
We don’t sell a package,
we sell freedom. A weekend where our entire house is yours to enjoy.
- Family Rohrmoser
Your wedding ceremony in front of our historic Jufen Chapel, surrounded by the impressive mountain scenery, creates a magical setting for your vows. At 1,150 meters above sea level, you can celebrate your love in complete freedom and ease—undisturbed throughout the entire Jufenalm grounds.
Every season lends your exclusive wedding in Austria a unique atmosphere—from the first warm days of spring to blooming alpine meadows in summer, the crisp expanses of autumn, and the serene winter landscape. Since no other guests will disturb your moments, your time in the mountains will become an experience that stays with you for a lifetime.
We offer a variety of on-site locations for celebrating non-religious wedding ceremonies. Our favorite spot is the Jufen Chapel, which can accommodate up to 16 guests inside. Additionally, your ceremony can take place around the chapel and amidst our mountain scenery, with plenty of room for customization. Even in bad weather, our Mindful Nest offers stylish space for up to 90 guests. From classic white seating to a rustic setting with hay bales, almost anything is possible. At your mountain wedding, big emotions and small gestures are always at the center of attention. We’ll plan the exact details of the ceremony together with you.
Protestant weddings can take place at any time right here at the Jufenalm. Catholic weddings are also possible on-site, subject to coordination between the couple, the Maria Alm parish office, and the Archdiocese of Salzburg—and we’d be happy to accommodate your own priest, so you can tie the knot not only in front of your loved ones but also in an unforgettable setting. Alternatively, church weddings can also be held in our beautiful pilgrimage church in Maria Alm, in the smaller church in Hinterthal, or in the Gerlinger Church in Saalfelden.
There are beautiful venues for civil weddings in the area around the Jufenalm—such as the Saalfelden Registry Office, Ritzensee Castle, or the Samerstall in Leogang, each just a 15–20-minute drive away. This allows you to seamlessly combine the official ceremony with your celebration in the mountains. Of course, it’s also possible to have a civil wedding ceremony in your hometown beforehand. Either way, the unforgettable highlight of your wedding will be the ceremony here with us at the Jufenalm.
It’s not just a wedding day. It’s an entire weekend that’s all yours. Look forward to an extraordinary experience in complete privacy—with plenty of room for genuine connections, unforgettable moments, and time with the people who matter most to you. The Jufenalm Weekend includes:
At the Jufenalm, fine dining isn’t just a highlight here and there—it’s an integral part of your entire stay. From the get-together the night before, through the reception and festive dinner, to the relaxed breakfast the next morning, we create a culinary experience that brings people together without overshadowing the occasion.
The first evening begins with everyone arriving together and enjoying dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. On the wedding day, the program includes a reception with finger food, a festive dinner, the subsequent celebration, and a midnight snack. The following day, everything winds down peacefully with breakfast, brunch, and time at the spa.
Personalized service, a tasting for four people, and assistance with planning. From our initial discussions through to the final details of your stay, we’ll guide you with our experience, calm demeanor, and a clear focus on what matters most.
We are also happy to assist you in connecting with selected partners for floristry, decoration, cake, and other details, so that your wedding receives exactly the setting it deserves—not only in terms of organization but also in terms of atmosphere.
Private access to all areas, including Cloud Nine . With the “Blue Heaven” infinity pool, saunas, relaxation areas, and secluded spots, the Jufenalm becomes not only the venue for your wedding but also a place for the quieter moments in between.
It is precisely the combination of the secluded location, nature, and the view of the mountains that creates what makes a stay like this special: time that doesn’t feel like a schedule, but like truly arriving. The spa is available until 3:00 PM on the day of departure.
Your wedding package includes a curated selection of beverages that complements the Jufenalm’s culinary concept and ensures a cohesive experience throughout the weekend. This includes soft drinks, water, beer, wine by the glass, sparkling wine by the glass, selected cocktails, and hot beverages.
Vintage wines, champagne, and spirits will be billed separately based on consumption. This keeps the basic concept clear and generous, while special requests can be intentionally tailored to individual preferences.
Two nights’ accommodation for your wedding party in 38 individually designed rooms and suites will make your wedding more than just a single day. Your guests won’t just be visiting for a few hours; they’ll experience the Jufenalm as a retreat, a gathering place, and a temporary home.
The standard basis is double occupancy for the rooms. In select categories, multiple occupancy is possible by arrangement—for example, for families or if there is a greater need within the wedding party. This ensures your stay retains its exclusive character without losing any of its relaxed atmosphere.
Exclusive use of the entire Jufenalm in a secluded setting provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding—whether for an entire weekend or, upon request, during the week. During this time, the property belongs exclusively to you and your wedding party—with all the rooms, private retreats, and atmospheres that make the Jufenalm so special.
No outside guests, no shared spaces, no overlap with regular hotel operations. Instead, you’ll find a place that feels entirely your own—quiet, private, and full of opportunities to experience your wedding at your own pace.
The Jufenalm brings together everything that makes a wedding special in one place—from the ceremony to the evening celebration. With the historic Jufen Chapel, the Mindful Nest, and other areas surrounding the house, we create spaces that feel completely different yet belong together.
Included is the use of the agreed-upon wedding venues as well as a basic setup for the ceremony with benches, electricity, and a microphone system. Basic technical equipment on-site is also part of the package. This creates a celebration that doesn’t rely on changing locations, but rather on a harmonious flow of events in a single, special place.
Our rooms are generally designed for double occupancy. Multiple occupancy is possible in select rooms by arrangement. Decorations are not included in the package. However, we are happy to assist you in finding suitable florists, garden centers, and decorators. Lunch is not included on the wedding day. However, our à la carte restaurant, which offers a lunch menu, is open as usual at lunchtime.
Civil weddings cannot be held directly at the Jufenalm. However, there are beautiful venues nearby, such as the Saalfelden Registry Office, Ritzensee Castle, or the Samerstall in Leogang. Many couples choose to hold the civil ceremony in advance on a smaller scale and then focus their wedding weekend at the Jufenalm entirely on the non-religious or church ceremony and on enjoying the experience together.
Since the Jufenalm is reserved exclusively for your wedding weekend, all 38 rooms and suites are already included in the overall package. Therefore, your guests cannot make individual room reservations through a separate booking allocation. We will work with you to determine which guests will be accommodated in which rooms as we move forward.
Despite its secluded and peaceful location, the Jufenalm is easily accessible. The access road is paved and suitable for larger vehicles. Ample parking is available on-site for your guests. It is precisely this combination of absolute tranquility and easy accessibility that makes the Jufenalm a special place for an exclusive wedding weekend in the mountains.
Since this is an exclusively reserved wedding weekend, the Jufenalm will be booked in its entirety for your group. Therefore, last-minute changes involving individual guests will not affect the base price of the weekend. For added peace of mind, we recommend purchasing appropriate cancellation insurance. We would be happy to discuss suitable options with you in person.
Even in bad weather, the Jufenalm offers suitable alternatives for the ceremony, reception, and celebration. Depending on the schedule and number of guests, various indoor spaces are available, ensuring that your wedding weekend can take place in a special atmosphere even if the weather is changeable. We always discuss which option best suits your wedding on an individual basis during the planning process.
The Jufenalm will provide the culinary experience for your weekend. For wedding cakes and select additional elements, we are happy to collaborate with suitable partners and, upon request, can recommend reliable vendors from our network. This ensures that the overall concept remains cohesive and tailored to your wishes.
If the Jufenalm concept appeals to you, we look forward to receiving your inquiry via our landing page. Next, we’ll get to know each other either during an in-person tour of the venue or via a video call. If everything works out for both of us, we’ll send you the contract documents. After that, we’ll start working together on the detailed planning for your weekend.
Our wedding package includes exclusive use of the entire Jufenalm from Friday through Sunday, two nights’ accommodation for your wedding party, culinary services throughout the weekend, access to all areas—including the spa—and personalized support from our team. We have deliberately eliminated separate wedding packages and add-ons, opting instead for a clear, all-inclusive package with a fixed structure.
Yes. Civil wedding ceremonies can be held right here at the Jufenalm—surrounding our historic Jufen Chapel, on the plateau, or in other areas with views of the mountains. A church wedding in our chapel is also possible upon consultation with the Maria Alm parish office and the Archdiocese of Salzburg. We always work with you to tailor the details to your specific wishes.
For your wedding weekend, the entire Jufenalm, including all 38 rooms and suites, will be exclusively at your disposal. In total, we can accommodate up to 78–80 guests who can spend the weekend together at the Jufenalm. Depending on the wedding ceremony schedule and the planning of the celebration, additional guests can also be included during the day for informal ceremonies held on-site. However, our concept is deliberately focused on an exclusive weekend with a small, private group.
Yes, of course. Our kitchen is happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free requests. During the detailed planning phase, we’ll work with you to coordinate all relevant details so that your guests can fully enjoy the culinary experience.
