What is the best way to get to the hotel?
In both summer and winter, a paved road leads directly to the Jufenalm. Due to its isolated location at 1,150 meters, four-wheel drive or appropriate snow chains are required in winter.

From the Saalfelden train station, take bus line 260 (summer) or 620 (winter) toward Maria Alm. The “Maria Alm Zentrum” stop is the nearest bus stop.

by plane
The nearest airports are Salzburg (approx. 75 km) and Munich (approx. 185 km). From there, we’d be happy to arrange a taxi (not included) for you, or you can continue your journey to Saalfelden by train.

Starting May 1, 2025, all guests will automatically receive a Guest Mobility Ticket upon check-in, which allows them to use all public transportation throughout the SalzburgerLand free of charge.

General Questions
Questions about the wellness area Cloud nine
The Blue Heaven infinity pool is heated to 34°C year-round. Children are welcome in the pool area and The Golden family relaxation room from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saunas and steam rooms are for adults only. Massages and treatments can be booked daily under "Massages."
Is the Jufenalm right next to the ski slope?
The hotel is not located directly on a ski slope; the nearest lift is a 5-minute walk away. To make up for this, we offer a complimentary daily ski shuttle for our hotel guests.
Can I rent sports equipment at the Jufenalm?
Hotel guests can borrow sleds free of charge at the hotel. In winter, snowshoes—including hiking poles and deep-snow baskets—are also available to borrow free of charge. In summer, guests can borrow archery course equipment, hiking poles, and backpacks free of charge.
Where can I find the nearest ski rental shop, and does the hotel have its own ski storage room?
You can find the nearest ski rental shop in Hintermoos. For more information, please ask at our front desk or call us. The ski storage room for our guests is heated and locked.
Is breakfast included in the price?
What are the breakfast hours?
Yes, our rates include a generous breakfast buffet. We serve breakfast daily from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Does the hotel offer a guest card?
With the Hochkönig Card, you can enjoy the perfect mountain vacation, including many of the region’s highlights and attractions. In addition, Hochkönig Card holders enjoy attractive discounts on select experiences in the area.
What activities are available near the hotel?
Summer: Archery courses, hikes, wildlife enclosures, bike paths, swimming spots in the region, nearby attractions
Winter: Natural toboggan run, hikes, wildlife enclosures, skiing, nearby attractions (more ideas here).
Do you also offer lactose-free, gluten-free, and
vegan dishes?
Upon request, we are of course happy to offer you a selection of lactose-free, gluten-free, and vegan dishes.
Does the hotel have its own restaurant or bar?
Our à la carte restaurant is open all day. We reserve a table here every evening for our hotel guests. The hotel also features an on-site bar, exclusively for our hotel guests.
Does the Hotel have rooms with multiple sleeping areas?
Our Freigeist category features two separate sleeping areas.

Your four-legged friend is welcome to join you with advance notice and for an additional fee.
Do you welcome families with children?
Of course, our younger guests are especially welcome here.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is always from 3 p.m. (if your room is ready earlier, we’ll be happy to let you know). Check-out is by 10 a.m.
